It occurred to me, as I was walking by a very dead corn field that I... miss Holler. So very, very much. With everything dying and Fall here and Halloween right around the corner-- it is so hard for me to NOT draw him.
It has been 4 years since I created him, Holler the Scarecrow King-- and a whole YEAR since I drew him last. Needless to say this felt wonderful and I am happy to be working on Gravedigger once more.
When I originally drew this it was at 3000x6000+ or something like that and I saved a 900xsomething PNG of progress before saving and my computer shut down. I lost the original file, the Photoshop File but still had the tiny PNG to work off of. I am unhappy with the quality of the corn field-- but it was good practice.
You will be seeing more of him and Gravedigger things from this point on.
